For the summer, surf on a wave of serenity with B-Alexis!

From July 1st to September 2nd, 2019, we have the honor of hosting an exhibition of the painter B-Alexis. Throughout his non-figurative oils, dive into a poetic and singular universe in the main entrance and the restaurant of Clos de la Ribaudière. You are also cordially invited to the opening which will take place on Friday, July 5th at 18:30.

A rich experience and a creative nature

Born in February 1952, B-ALEXIS started painting in the 1960s. In 1974, some of his creations were awarded at national and international exhibitions. His studies, trades and travels did not prevent him from devoting himself to his passions of art, creation and work. According to him, this should not be a trend or a fashion but rather a present that must afford to extend the nature of life in its infinity. A life that continues to be enriched by a constant learning for B-Alexis; his painting and his drawings look at each other long and with interest as an uninterrupted melody.

B-Alexis lives and works in Nouvelle Aquitaine. His pictorial research and his drawings are constantly influenced by the elements, nature and being. Between light and shadow, B-Alexis reveals his vision of landscapes and energies that he meets in the force of the waves and the breath of the wind. These forms in perpetual motion compose an alchemy that he likes to admire and postpone on his paintings. The curves move in the constant revolution of time. Thus, the artist reveals the hidden beauty of nature to sublimate his pictorial work. “It is a morning at dawn, in the touch of drops of water and the signs of animal life, the evenings in the rhythm of seasons where colors mix, by the magic of lights: the aurora according to the latitudes, the passage of man “.

The color is born of the light and infiltrates in each element, each particle to be reborn and made to be understood. That’s how sand and water mix to give a painting its incredible shades of ocher, blue and green. It is a question of recognizing the place or the landscape then to exercise one’s thought before retranscribing the result on the web. His painting traces a set of connections and details with the elements. It is composed and recomposed in the movements of light and matter. Thus, in order to continue his learning and to teach his precious knowledge, B-Alexis regularly gives painting lessons in his workshop “de la Madrolle”, located in Iteuil.
