From February 1st until 28th, 2019, <\/strong>in the main entrance and restaurant of the Ch\u00e2teau du Clos de la Ribaudi\u00e8re, take a stroll through the exhibition of Jean-Claude Bertrand, who reveals to us, through his hyperrealist paintings, an ode to nature.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Environmental awareness <\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to his professional experience as a preparer and moulder in a paleontology laboratory, and his field trips in search of the past, Jean-Claude Bertrand has become closer to the environment. It is the trace of the human engraved in nature that has aroused his interest. All that connects the human to its history and environment is a common thread and is at the origin of everything. It is this realization that the artist wants to share and awaken with people who watch his paintings. The goal of Jean-Claude Bertrand is to paint to allow everyone to escape, to realize the beauty of nature and this essential need to protect it. Thus, during your stroll, you will be swept away by the intense green foliage, slide on the reflection of a river and plunge into the blue of a winter sky.<\/p>\n

An inspiration at every moment
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

This artist does not work on command or at the chain, he is guided by the patience, the delicacy and the desire to take his time to decline in his works all the wonders that the Nature offers us. He finds the inspiration in every glance, every walk, every daily contemplation of the landscapes that surround him. Like a photograph, he memorizes an image which has marked him and which will be his base of work. Then the intuitive guides his choices of composition. Water as element of life and all its luminosities and reflections are also one of his subjects of predilection. His tendency towards the perfection of hyperrealism is a means of bringing the other towards the positive emotion of a beauty to be preserved. This approach is his project, the landscape remains the source of his work as an artist.<\/p>\n
