From March 31st to April 27th,  Du 31 mars au 27 avril, in the main entrance and in the restaurant of the Chateau Clos de la Ribaudière, let’s discover the daring paintings of Sébastien Piquet.

Sébastien Piquet is a painter and artist, native from the North of France. He lives now near Civray, in the South of la Vienne.

His career led him in 1992 to join the Saint Luc Institute in Tournai (Belgium) to study Fine Arts. He will come out in 1999, graduated from Professional Education in Graphic Arts – Graphic Design / Advertising. In 1993, in parallel with his studies, Sébastien perfected his apprenticeship in the Aquarellys Association. In this way, he also participates in his very first exhibitions with the amateur painters of the club. Since then, he will never stop exposing … In 1997, he began to exhibit regularly in the various salons and artistic events of the Lille metropolis. Very quickly, over the exhibitions, his work is noticed by renowned artists.

Mastering many techniques, he practices mainly in acrylic, watercolor and pencil. His works are present in several collections in France and abroad (especially in Belgium). He organises numerous exhibitions, alone or in groups, and also participates in numerous exhibitions, competitions and artistic events. Some of these events have allowed him to distinguish himself by being awarded or honored (exhibition-contact in Arras). He is also occasionally asked to be a member of artistic juries. As experienced pedagogue, he also worked for several years as an animator in art workshops and courses in drawing and painting.

Skillful artist, Sébastien Piquet also engages in realisation of orders, works or personalized services: realisation of portraits, paintings, drawings or frescoes. Many partners have also trusted him in the execution of illustrations, graphic work or even during artistic performances. In 2012 the artist mounted a major retrospective exhibition to celebrate his 20 years of artistic practice and his 10 years of exhibition.
